We have assembled the following photographs and descriptions for the purpose of historical documentation and identification. Each instrument is identified by the best information available to us. There is always room for clarification and adjustment. If you find any information that you believe is more accurate or could be better described – please let us know.
Most of the instruments selected to be included are historically significant in the development and evolution of one design or another. Most are vintage, but we also included some contemporary examples to demonstrate how designs have evolved. Ultimately, these instruments live on long after we are gone. We see our time with them as custodians or stewards. We feel it is worth documenting and hope that the information is helpful to you.
