1932 f-hole L-50

This f-hole example has an unusual body shape that appears only to have been used in 1932. The odd “mini-dreadnought” shaped body measures 14 5/8” across the lower bout, 18 ¼” long and 3 ¼” deep.

The top is carved in a slightly domed shape without recurve and is parallel braced. The flat back is braced and is a thin 2 ply laminate with a figured maple layer showing on the exterior.

This example has an inlayed logo in the headstock, but some are seen with a silkscreened logo.
